Tibnor stocks an extensive range of machined stainless rounds which after annealing are further processed by either peeling or rough turning, the latter for larger diameters. Our stock programme encompasses austenitic, martensitic and duplex grades covering all conceivable requirements, be it high strength, outstanding corrosion resistance, immunity to heat or ease of machining. The diameter tolerance of machined stainless-steel bars is usually k12 or k13 (depending on diameter) as stipulated in ISO 286 - 2 and which is a zero-plus tolerance. In other words, the actual diameter is marginally larger than the nominal one.
