The market's widest range of steel and metals
The HEB beam is a B-type wide-flange beam according to the European standard. The beam is very similar to the HEA beam, but its web and flanges are thicker. It means that HEB beams have greater stiffness both longitudinally and axially than HEA beams. In other words, they are more resistant to bending. Generally supplied in steel quality S355J2 and according to standard EN 10025-2. The areas of use are basically the same as for HEA beams, i.e. Frame structures and infrastructure applications in steel construction.
